About Natural Timber Creations

John Marley, a trade certified Cabinetmaker, started Natural Timber Creations back in 1981 from his Kerikeri joinery factory in the Bay of Islands.
John’s attention to detail and insistence on using only the finest quality materials saw the business flourish and in 1993 his brother Paul Marley came on board becoming a trade certified Cabinetmaker. The company has continued to grow and train apprentices. Eden Simpson achieved national recognition after taking top honours in the 2008 and 2009 years before going on to win in the NZ 2010 FITEC National Apprentice of the Year Furniture Awards. Administration Manager Helen Martin completes the team.
And it’s a team that’s passionate about producing premium quality kitchens which is why every step of the process is done in house. From drying the timber, design and manufacture, right through to the laser level installation, final adjustments and after sales service, every step is monitored by the same experienced craftsmen.
They also pride themselves on their creativity and ability to do those really tricky jobs like curved cabinetry, (see galleries for examples). They don’t just do kitchens either – they can create whatever you’re after to suit your specific needs and style…the only limit is your imagination.
