Kitchens + Cabinetry
Established in Kerikeri in 1981, Natural Timber Creations became a well-known and trusted supplier of kitchens and cabinetry in the area, before relocating to Auckland in 2017 and establishing a dedicated workshop.
Quality Materials
We have always loved the timeless beauty and durability of timber and plywood. We are mindful about sustainability and, where possible, we use only products that have minimal impact upon the environment e.g. low or formaldehyde-free boards.
Craftsmanship
Over the last 40 years we have grown from strength to strength, becoming a leading kitchen manufacturer known for our exacting and high quality workmanship. When others say it can’t be done, we find a way to make it happen.
Durability
As standard we use white Italian HPL plywood for the interiors of our kitchens for strength and durability, rather than melamine. Where possible, we use only products that have minimal impact upon the environment e.g. low or formaldehyde-free boards.

Our approach
As a small family-owned business, from the get go you’ll be dealing with the people that not only design, but manufacture the kitchens using real timber or plywood. We’ll be able to provide valuable insight into what is possible and the best materials to use to make your dream project come to life.
We get that you are undertaking a huge project, and so we don’t take shortcuts. We get to know you and understand exactly what you want before we quote, so there’s no surprises. Then we make it happen.
How we work and getting started
- Contact us and make an appointment for your initial consultation.
- At the first consultation, we will discuss your design ideas and establish what your requirements and budgets are. NTC then completes an initial design based on what has been discussed, turning your ideas into practical and stunning solutions.
- We then meet again to discuss the design layout, explaining our features and recommendations. Where necessary, after modifications to these are agreed upon, a revised plan is completed so that an accurate quote may be generated.
- We return with a fixed price quote. Before we release any plans, a deposit of 10% of the total price of the quote must be made – which also confirms your commitment and order.
- Before manufacture of your project starts, we then require a further 40% deposit so that your materials can be ordered.
- Once manufacture is completed, a further 30% progress payment is required before the goods leave the workshop.
- The final 20% is due within 7 days of receipt of account on completion and installation of the job.
